Cross Hatching

How do I "cross hatch" an irregular shape? I have found
ways to cross hatch a square or rectangle, yet cannot
locate a system to fill in a "cross hatch" on an
irregulat shape.

Visio can apply a hatch (fill) to any closed region on a shape. Use the
pencil tool to completely close your irregular shape.
