I and others can not open a Visio 2003 file that has been posted on our
companys website. When I double click the file it asks me to open or save
it. If I choose open, i get a Client Authenticatin dialog box that says "the
web site you want to view requests identification. Select the certificate to
use when connecting." There are no certificates to select. If I choose to
save the file to my computer first I can open it without a problem. Is this
a problem with IE or the website. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Henry,

It sounds as though your company website uses an authenticating proxy for
downloading files; you might be able to view configuration settings in IE
through the Internet Options dialog -- Tools > Internet Options >
Connections Tab > LAN settings, and also consult your company IT group for
help with this.
