When moving/copying stencils, shapes, etc. I can only see an outline box of
what I want to move or copy. Before SP2 I used to see the entire picture/
stencil/ shape/ object before dropping it into place. I don't want to blame
this on SP2 without checking to see if this is a known bug first, or if I
have a setting or option incorrectly configured.

Second, If there is a bug in SP2 is there any way to remove it without
reinstalling Visio... I don't want to go through the corporate red tape to
have it reinstalled.

Thanks

Are you seeing this for a single shape or just when moving a large quantity
of shapes at once? There should be no change between Service Packs for
this. When you start dragging shapes around, Visio does a brief performance
test to see if your computer hardware is able to render the full shape
details on the fly. If not, you get the outline rectangles instead. Once
Visio has to revert to outline rectangles, it may just stay with them for
the rest of the session. A restart of the app should reset the perf check.
