Dear all,

I have a problem with a Visio file. After a network issue, the document is
damaged and cannot open it. The message is:
"An error (1) occurred during the action Open File
Unexcepted end of file"

I wonder if you can help me to repair the file. Thanks.

Sorry, there is no way to repair. We are aware of the potential for file
corruption when network connectivity fails and are working to avoid that
scenario.

Surly that isn't the only reason for the message:
"An error (1) occurred during the action Open File Unexcepted end of
file"

I too am receiving this message but:
1) This message only occurs in Visio 2003 SP 1
2) The same file loads just fine in Visio 2002 SP 2
3) This file is one of 5 files, this is the only file that will not
load.

Is there some way to save the file and reload it. It does have a bit of
Visual Basic programming to connect to a lotus notes database.

One other problem I have with 2003 is that it doesn't read Lotus notes
database fields anymore (except in the visual basic program).:what

I have isolated the problem to a bad template. Since this template was
only used once it was easy to delete. I have the visio file with just
the template (no drawing, no visual basic, just one template) that
still fails to load.:aaa
