‘Number Shapes’ add-on: Custom Properties not renumbering

Hi,

If I renumber shapes using the ‘Number Shapes’ add-on in Visio 2003 (i.e. I
delete the existing shape number as visible in the shape and then renumber
using the ‘Number Shapes’ add-on) the ‘value’ field in Custom Properties for
Prop.ShapeNumberText and Prop.ShapeNumber retain their pre-renumbering values
e.g. one of the shapes has been renumbered as 1.6.2 (this number is visible
in the shape itself) but the Prop.ShapeNumberText value is ‘1.5.’ and the
Prop.ShapeNumber is ‘16.0000’).

How do I view the present value of the Prop.ShapeNumberText and
Prop.ShapeNumber fields as renumbered rather than the pre-renumbering value?

Any advise will be much appreciated.

Thank you

Gary

Mmmmm.....The problem as described below can be overcome by adhering to the
following process:

1) Delete numbers from shapes
2) Save
3) Add numbers to shapes
4) Save

- The above must to be performed on each page individually.

Any comments or advise will be welcome as it is tedious having to perform
the above for each page individually especially when it can take some seconds
to save each time.

Thank you
