I have a client whose PC will not shut down Visio. We thought it was from a
corupt file but they seem to be unrelated. You can only shut it down be
ending the program in task mngr.
I did some searching but could'nt find anything directly related.
Any help is appreciated.

are any custom macros/add-on still running, or possibly did they fail while
visio was open (i.e. an error handler still active and not allowing visio to
close).

As far as I know there were none. I was able to get the relaunch problem to
stop be unchecking the"Enable COM add-ins" box under tools>options>advanced
tab.
Let me know of any other ideas, my fix worked but there must be away to
slove the problem and still allow COM add-ins.
Thanks
