Discussion:
Callouts moving with shapes
(too old to reply)

When I take a copy and paste from a shape with a movable callout, I often
have the following result.
The shape and the callout are copied, but the callout does not move with the
shape.
When I look at the configuration of the callout, it is movable with the
shape, only it works not properly.
Am I doing something wrong ?
I am using Visio 2002 or 2007 (drawings and chapes are created with Visio
2002).

Is there a solution for this problem ? Can someone explain this to me ?
Thanks,

Is the callout glued to the shape?
Does the connector part of the callout move?

Paul,

(Sorry for the late reply, I was a week not at work).

The callout is glued to the shape.
The connector part of the callout moves with the shape.
But the callout does't move with the shape.

Hi Rik,unfortunately those callouts shouldn't move in the manner you
require. However, shapes can do this, in my:
http://www.sdl.sandrila.co.uk/
if you download the zip file you'll find stencils that contain shapes
called Comment and Text Extension. These will both do what you want.
You are welcome to use them.
