Linking Visio Chart to Word

Hello,
I want to link my Visio chart to a Word document. This way, when I update
the Visio document, the word file is automatically updated. However, when I
do the following in Word:

Edit
Paste Special

The Paste Link button radio button is grayed out. Any suggestions?

What happens when you do paste special in Word when the Visio drawing is open?

I think that may help to resolve your issue.
