Permssions to ceate organization chart from exchange

I have been trying to create an organization chart using visio 2003 from an
exchange directory without success.
Can anyone tell me if there are any special permissions needed in active
directory to accomplish this task. All I get is the person at the top of the
chart without the subordinates

As long as you can browse the Exchange Address List you should have the
necessary rights. Are you able to select a user in the email program (say,
in Outlook) and see the Organization tab for the person properties? Is the
Manager field populated with the information about the correct Manager?

If these fields are not exposed or used in the Exchange environment, then
the data will not be traversable.
