When I save my visio flow chart as a web page, it looks good, but I have a
few issues.
1. I don't want all of the info on the left to show up. How do I hide this
so the end user does not see it or have access to it.
2. I want the user to be able to call up documentation if they have a
question about a flow chart element. So I created a hyperlink on a shape and
save. I right click on the shape and the document comes up. However, when I
do this from the Web Page I created, I get an error:
Internet Explorer cannot open the Internet site
file:///I:/ITTroy..........Integration_Files/vml_1.htm
Operation Aborted
I have no idea why this is happening. I really don't want a web page
either. I just don't want the end user to be able to or have to open Visio
to access the document and an htm page looked like the easiest way.
I have the entire Office 2003 suite, so if there is any way that this can be
accomplished, please let me know. My real question, I guess, is: "How can I
link a shape to a Word Document on a LAN and generate my visio flow chart in
a format that everyone can view it?"
I ask for the world, but I can never hold it up!
Thanks!
