Selected Text Disappears

I am using Visio Professional 2002 and once Windows Service Pack 2 wa
installed I am having problems with Visio. When I select text it i
highlighted but I can no longer see the text. I can click so th
highlight is gone but the text still does not show, I have to enter
letter, number, period, etc. and the text will re-appear. Does anyon
know what would cause this. I restored my computer to a date prior t
the service pack 2 installation and this problem went away. But a
this is a work computer I had to reinstall service pack 2. If the I
guy remotely accesses my computer the problem also goes away, as soo
as he disconnects the problem re-appears

Open Visio. Click Tools/Options and then the view tab. Change the
"Text Quality" to "Faster text display". Try that see if it works.
