v2002 and v2000 used pretty much the same document format, save your v2003
document in v2002 format.

I created a Visio file for a client using Visio 2003. However, my client
uses Visio 2000. How can I revert this file to a version that Visio 2000
can
open?

Hi,

You may save your Visio 2003 file as Visio 2002 drawing file and then you
will be able to open in your Visio 2000 Program.
To do this File|Save As|select the option select as type as - visio 2002
drawing(*.vsd) in the Save As Dialog box.

If there is no editing required then you may better use Visio Viewer 2003
which is available at:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=3FB3BD5C-FED1-46CF-
BD53-DA23635AB2DF&displaylang=en

Hope this helps resolve your issue.

Thanks and reagards

Try using "Save As" and choosing Visio 2000 as the file format.
