Visio UML Code Templates not saved with .vsd
(too old to reply)

Our development team is using Visio for Enterprise Architect, to diagram new
projects in UML. When we create custom code generation templates, and apply
them to classes in the model, it works great for generating code formated the
way we want. The problem is that when we share the vsd file with another
developer, all the code templates are gone. It appears that the templates are
not saved with the .vsd file. Is this true? If it is true, where are these
settings saved to? How can we share these templates among developers when we
share a file?

The settings are saved into -- GET THIS! -- The registry under th
HKEY_CURRENT_USER hive.

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Visio\Solution\UML Solutio
2002\Code Generation

You should be able to export the keys and import them into othe
developers registries.
